Our tasting room, surrounding patio, log cabin, and vineyard provide a variety of options for fun events.

South Dominion Winery is excited to offer a variety of events that bring both fun and creativity to the tasting room. From family-friendly past events like the Washington County Fiber Tour to relaxing Paint and Sip sessions, Cork Crafting workshops, and vibrant art weekends in collaboration with local venues, we’re always celebrating the best of our community. We’re thrilled to partner with artist and instructor Mary Beth Daloia, who has co-hosted our Paint and Sip events for two years running. We look forward to featuring her talents in even more upcoming events.

Our monthly pop-up series continues to be a crowd favorite, now scheduled for the last Friday of every month. Enjoy our wines and sangria while soaking in the sounds of live, original music from local musicians. Pair it with mouthwatering bites from local food vendors like Jacko’s Corner, El Sassers, Vashti’s Kitchen Delights, Sage Mosso Pizza, and more!

Alongside our popular Firepit Fridays, we’re adding even more opportunities to experience the best of Washington County and to celebrate our nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary. Every second Sunday we offer a History Walk at the vineyard, featuring a two-hour guided tour through the vines ending at the 1766 log cabin, where participants may enjoy a glass of wine and a cheese and cracker board while learning about the original occupants of the log home and their role in the American Revolution.

The Washington County Bounty Tour – an event which brings many local vendors to the vineyard – is another family-fun weekend to experience, alongside our new October event, Vintage on the Vineyard. This special occasion will showcase antiques, collectibles, vintage treasures, and handmade goods. We’re capping off the season with a festive Holiday Open House in November, where guests can enjoy complimentary mulled wine, savory bites, sweet treats, and shop for unique gifts.
